A Brooklyn shul candy man was left fuming after he found out that he is not the only source of sugar for kids who come to shul on a shabbos morning.
"I am horrified that kids could be getting candy from other sources possibly even other shul candy men."
While kids do not want to reveal their secret shul candy sources, many kids are reported to be having between 19 and 37 candies every week at shul. According to the Bureau of Child Shul Candy Intake, this does not even include or constitute the cake, pastries, soda and other sugar filled items that are being consumed at the kiddush.
The shul candy man for his part has not been so livid since the time he was tricked into giving a kid more than one candy.
